Improve Your Adsense Earnings

The Pentagon of Progress is a Newsletter that I once started to write as a paid subscription. Therefore I put extra effort into writing it. Later on I decided to share it with everyone for free. Here it is.

This issue is numbered 0, because it's an introduction, a mere glimpse of what to expect from the following editions of this newsletter. It is also a brief introduction of what to expect from the future issues. Once you finish reading this issue, you should have a clear understanding whether this newsletter is for you, or if you wish to unsubscribe from it.

It's important to note that this newsletter is called Pentagon of Progress, and not Pentagon of Success. I try to avoid using the word success, because I don't know what it means to you. I'm sure it means different things to different people. And there are so many ways. However, I believe that in the domain of website creation and Internet marketing, progress depends on relatively few, well-understood tactics.

Would you like to learn these techniques and start gaining something in return for your hard work? If so, I welcome you to the introductory issue of my newsletter. It's about making money on the Internet. You may have heard this before, that people who make money online, a lot of it, don't seem to be concerned with making money. They seem to be worried about something else, something that is beyond the importance of getting paid. But in a certain way, that something is what enables them to make money in the first place.

So, what is this secret wrapped in mystery that it seems only the few successful people know about? Before you start thinking about money, you must first understand several basic, yet cardinal concepts firmly planted into the mind of the person who is determined to produce value for others, and therefore make a considerable amount of money by doing so.

What does it mean to produce value? And why should anyone care? Well, the point of the entire series of this newsletter is to explain these ideas. I will explain ideas that I myself use. The ones that I believe were responsible for setting me on the right path to earning more money online. I also want to prepare you for accepting the type of behavior and thinking methods that achieving these goals will demand from you. I can't begin to pretend that I am the master of the craft of making money online. My online income is the only earnings I make for a living. But looking back in retrospect, I was just like you, seeking information online about any way I could profit from the Internet. After all, you did sign up for this newsletter.

Some people find it very difficult to change the way they think about themselves and their efforts to produce online content. Producing content is one of the most important activities that you will be doing on your path to greater profits. But not just any type of content. You must create unique, original and valuable content that serves people's need for information or entertainment. Thinking of yourself as a content producer is important. You must learn to become good at it. And in order to do that, you will need to change yourself from the inside out.

These changes are difficult to make because from an early age we are trained to think about money in a way that is not suitable for making a decent amount of it. What about when it comes to working all by yourself? We are taught to forget it. Either by the corporations, society, or even jealousy of our siblings or family members. But you are in luck! Because these skills can be learned and executed in practice by just about anyone who can use their brain's ability to reason. Anyone who has consciousness can do this. Luckily, the ability of conscious thought and reason is inherent to all human beings. It's just not commonly exercised by everyone consciously.

  • Thinking is a useful tool if it is used well, i.e used consciously. However most thinking is not rational, not conscious and often it becomes very destructive.

If you are interested in learning more about this. I took this from this web page. It's a good read: Conscious Thinking

If you think that in order to make a living all by yourself without the need for a regular job you need to possess a certain level of intelligence, I can say that it is certainly not true.

In every industry I have studied before, there are successful people who are intelligent and who are not very intelligent. But what enables the few to succeed is the use of their brain's ability to reason. If you can understand that 1 + 1 is 2, you have the conscious ability to use reason. It's such a simple concept to grasp, that perhaps many people disregard it completely because they don't believe that something as simple as that could work for them. People probably disregard this concept because of the mere fact that it's too simple, and therefore cannot work for them.

This type of mentality arises from the already ongoing psychology of someone who believes things that work don't come easily. Which I absolutely agree with. But what is it that we have to do in order to overcome this way of thinking? What things that need change in order to overcome this psychological barrier?

You may not believe that you have the power to create a comfortable living for yourself using your abilities alone, whichever those abilities may be, but that's a completely different matter. And it is actually a problem that many people face. A problem that needs to be fixed in order to achieve your goals before proceeding to physically starting a new website with great hopes.

If you are not confident in yourself, it's going to be troubling, because you will not be motivated to produce great content that people love. But it is actually a very simple problem to solve. People are not confident in producing results not because they had parents who are experts at an activity known as Guilt Tripping. No, the reason you don't feel confident about your ability to make things happen lies in the simple fact that you have never done it before.

You have no idea what type of results your work should produce, what exactly you would need to produce in order for it to be considered successful, and what to expect from your work. And not knowing what to expect is what creates fear, or at least the feeling of uncertainty. It also creates that morbid feeling of not being rewarded for your hard work. But there are many things you can do to overcome this way of thinking. Which is kind of what this newsletter is all about!

And I will get to the details of a potentially workable idea of solving this problem in just a moment. At the basic level, it will depend on actually accomplishing something and producing results. If you think about your work in terms of physical input, it may help you to understand what the heck you are doing in the first place. At least, this is a way of thinking that has increased my productivity by I don't know how many thousand percent.

The question you need to ask yourself is how much did you do today that resulted in something being physically changed? For example, writing an article physically changes the file system on your hard drive, and it also creates value for the readers, which is the point. Value is what we need to produce. And no matter how you twist value, it will also depend on physical, tangible resources you will create as a writer and as a content publisher. You must be able to create those resources. And putting them on the Internet will physically change things, too. Google will physically store your article on their cache servers. People will start visiting your website, coming from organic search result queries.

Sending a newsletter to 300 subscribers will physically store your email in 300 email inboxes for a long time. And so forth.

Once you see for yourself how what you do makes a physical change, it will be easier for you to understand what you are doing and what to expect from the results of your work. When you expect the results that are being produced by a certain amount of work, only then you will be able to feel the sense of being rewarded. If you expect too much, but it doesn't happen, you will feel being cheated, you may even feel angry. In the end, knowing your physical impact can cure this problem for you. Keep that in mind.

So, finally, who is this newsletter for? Anyone who has thought about creating a website and monetizing it, but perhaps fell short or found it difficult to continue. Perhaps you've never created a website in your life before, and that's okay. Or if you are having trouble with growing your online business and want to learn to be more effective and productive, this is the right newsletter for you. You may not understand why your efforts and hard work are not being rewarded. For example, hundreds of hours of work on your AdSense website are not producing any significant results. If that's the case, then this newsletter is specifically designed for you.

All of your success with making money will depend on how much value you can produce for other people. This is true whether your goal is to make money online or offline. All large corporations, including Google, understand this concept quite well. It is the very driving force behind the success and popularity of their products and services.

It's not easy to learn the skills required to duplicate their success, but it can still be done by one person on a smaller scale. You won't make billions per year like Google, but it is certainly possible to make thousands of dollars per day online for a single, thinking person.

Most people who start an online business are loners. They often think that they can do it on their own. Let me tell you right now. If you do not accept advice from other people, you can unsubscribe from this newsletter right now. There is simply no single successful person alive who has not learned information from someone else. If you feel that you know everything by yourself, then chances are that you are the kind of a person who is having difficulty processing new information and learning, a skill without which nothing would happen.

That would also mean you are not ready to accept information from another person. This is a very common mistake people make with their "Do it yourself" attitudes. I say this now because I want to prepare you to be open to what you are going to have to learn from this and the following 9 newsletters. This information will require you to pay attention. Due to the scope of information written in the entire series, you may even want to go over it multiple times in the future.

Still reading? That's good. Some people think that there is absolutely nothing wrong with listening to someone else. When you listen to other people, it doesn't mean that someone may or may not be smarter than you are. No matter what they look or sound like. It doesn't matter. As a human being in possession of a brain, we all have the quality to memorize information. Someone who can save you the time and the trouble of learning these things the hard way, is your asset. Take that information from them. It's yours.

There are only so many ways to solve the Rubik's cube. Most solutions have already been discovered. Now, all that you have to do is learn what those solutions are, and do it yourself. And you can add your own personal and creative twist to it.

Making money on the Internet is about knowing how to provide people with value, perhaps it is a piece of information they want to learn and understand. A blog that they can subscribe to, or any other informational website that provides value in the form of detailed and practical information or entertainment. Sometimes it is a good idea to combine both, but that will depend on your skill as a creative writer and content producer. This is something that will be discussed in the following issues of this newsletter.

How would you like to learn about what it takes to develop the correct mentality for producing value for other people? I created this newsletter to share my experience and help you to do just that. It's no rocket science. You don't have to possess significant intellectual capacities to do it. My goal is to share the information that I have acquired over the years, with you. I want to provide you with that value. My reward? I don't ask for anything. But if you believe I was able to change your mind about something, or even if you believe that you learned something from this newsletter, I would love to hear from you. I also want to know about your website and how you were able to improve it as a result of learning something from this newsletter when you're finished with it.
